We have volunteer Game Gurus at the cafés to help people by finding and explaining games, but since they are volunteers, they will not always be there.

When you make a table reservation, you can also hire one of our Board Game Gurus as a dedicated Guru for your party only.

Our dedicated Game Gurus can introduce you to many of the games in our selection, and guide you through the rules.
We recommend 1 Guru pr. 10 persons.

A Game Guru costs 750 DKK per hour (min. 1 hour). If you are a member you will get a 40% discount lowering the price to 450 DKK per hour. Only the person booking needs to be a member to get the discount.

If the dedicated Guru(s) should know specific genre of games or be able to speak Danish, please say so in the comments. We can’t guarantee that the Guru know the rules to a specific game, but then the Guru will try to find something similar. And even though the Guru might know the rules for a specific game, we might not have it or it might not be available if other guests are playing it. Games can not be reserved.

The Guru will get the booker’s phone number and email adress, in case the Guru has any questions.

The Guru is booked from the time the reservation starts unless other is asked for in the comments.

Please notice we cannot always guarantee a Guru. We do not have Gurus on stand-by, so we have to ask our Gurus if anyone is available on the requested day and if they are able to accommodate your game requests (if any).

However, the earlier you book, the greater the chance there is for us to find a guru. Booking a guru less than 1-2 days before the table reservation or 2-3 days before a reservation in the weekend, is very unlikely to be accommodated. But we will do our very best.
If we don’t succeed in getting a Guru you will be reimbursed the Guru fee.
